As one of the founders of the South Pasadena Prayer Breakfast and a local spiritual leader, Rev. Lincoln Skinner is a connector and has facilitated connection and collaboration between both individuals in town as well as numerous community organizations, all benefiting the cohesion of our community.

From youth programs around music to local performances at community events, to music resonating from local venues every night, music is always in the air in South Pasadena thanks to performers in our town like Maria Taylor. Beyond her encouraging and active presence in town, Maria is a talented singer-songwriter based here in South Pasadena, helping us keep our musical spirit so vibrant.

Community starts growing with our youngest neighbors, and folks like Samantha Montes that shape young minds and hearts are helping shape our community’s future! A longtime South Pasadenan, Samantha’s passion for hands-on learning, creativity, and relationship-building is legendary.

South Pasadena is full of creatives, and Justin Monroe and Tim Carey embody that spirit as a filmmaker and artist that partnered up to capture the story of creating the largest stained glass window of its kind ever made. Justin and Tim are critical pieces of the beautiful mosaic of creative energy that makes South Pasadena unique.

A wife, mother, sister, well-respected Director, and overall BOSS, Michele has been a pillar of our community for over 20 years building and directing early childhood educational programs for young children and helping raise children into young people who can advocate for themselves.
